On June 3, 2019, MARTY, the County's public transit program is starting a new commuter bus service- Attention Hobe Sound Employers!

On June 3, 2019, MARTY, the County's public transit program is starting a new commuter bus service, 30x. This senjce offers an Indiantown to Hobe Sound connection that will provide a safe and inexpensive alternative mode of transportation for Indiantown residents to get to and from work. Operational hours are Monday- Friday during peak hours. We are asking that you please make your Indiantown employees aware of this new service and encourage them to utilize it. It is a free ride for the first week (June 3-7), but starting June 10, the cost per boarding is $2. You may purchase a bus pass from the driver for $20 which is valid for ten (10) boardings. If a valid Veterans ID is provided, the ride is free. I would also encourage riders to use the MyRide link which is located at www.myride.martin.fl.us. This link provides real-time information about how long it will take the bus to get to the stop as it may encounter delays due to trains or traffic. We can provide information cards for riders to assist them with using this link. I am attaching a copy of the new 30x Commuter route info and map for you to relay to your employees as well as a copy of the My Ride card. The inaugural ride on June 3 will begin at Trail Drive & Warfield Boulevard (Rines Market) in Indiantown at 6:50 a.m. I will be riding on the route, along with members of the Village of Indiantown Council, to promote the new service. If you are interested in riding along on the inaugural trip, you are invited to come help make your employees feel welcome and comfortable. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact my office at (772) 221-2357 or email me at hjenkins@martin.fl.us. We hope to see you on the bus on June 3. Thank you, Commissioner Jenkins adm2019L247
